Foolspotting : It's a Raunchy one

by SloshedAndVexed @ 2008-04-01 - 20:14:56

So I tried to find the 'april fool' item in today's D/Mail : Care homes for the elderly should discourage Christian workers who do not favour gay rights , say Inspectors : Nah , that's all too very plausible .
MP's want to flush out loo's that waste water ? - Having read that  , it's far too boringly sensible to be a joke .
Pandemic warning over hospital 'superbug' that's resistant to anti-biotics ? - If only that were a sick joke . . .
Pay per view funerals , broadcast over the internet for family or friends of the deceased unable to be there in person , for a cost of £75 , a service becoming available from various crematoria chapels in Britain ?
- I seriously wondered about that , though drew the conclusion that it's not entertaining enought to be a spoof story , though it just could be .
If there is one april fool story in the paper I think it has to be :
' £800 for a spot of pleasure '  :
' It could be the perfect gift for the woman who has everything . But wants just a little more .
Doctors are offering a collagen injection which they claim will enhance female sexual pleasure .
The G-Shot , as is is known , is a rather intimate procedure given under local anaesthetic .
It is being hailed as the latest lunchtime treatment , with patients in and out of the London clinic offering the jab within 30 minutes .
The injection , which costs £800 , is said to enlarge the G-Spot , the fabled female erogenous zone identified by German gynaecologist Dr Grafenberg in 1950   . . .
It is said to enlarge it to the size of a 10p coin . . .
Obviously the British are a bit more conservative but the results are fantastic , said Professor Phanuel Dartey . . .
The effects , which include heightened sexual pleasure and a more powerful libido , are said to last about 4 months . . . '
- Which I presume to be an April 1st spoof , but , who knows ?
Have you fooled or been fooled by anyone today , or is April-Foolery  a largely extinct tradition ?
