So why do I mostly write here about  serious  , troublesome  things ?
My life is so uneventful  , if I were to write everyday about my everyday life I'd soon have no readers left .
So I comment on  things in the news which I feel I can offer some sort of  insight  into  , and there's not much 'in the news' that's very cheering .
I think that my morals are  good and yes I  have a fascination with criminology  and with 'dark' things , though I can't delve into that if I'm too depressed , though as I've said  before my life is better than it has been , and I'm the only person who can or can't change my circumstances for the better .
A former schoolteacher of mine , who'd been a journalist , once boasted that he could intelligently and readably write about almost anything , and  I think that's  a skill that can grow with practice .
I reckon  that  at  around  80% of people who contribute to this site are  significantly troubled in one way or another , and we're  an online , on- screen community who often are very supportive to one another , which is great .
It's easy to tell  things here which one might not easily reveal to anyone 'face to face' , and everyone here , apart from a small  minority of p*sstakers deserves to have someone read and comment  on their posts , even if just to acknowledge having read what they have to say , so they know they are'nt just 'talking to themselves' .
